About the app

Every creature has its own storybook painting that comes alive as a short moving picture, its name read aloud, and the real science told in clear words, checked against museums and scientific papers.

Readers explore maps of the continents as they were, with every fossil site in its ancient place, a timeline through 186 million years, and a size compare against themselves. They play nine kinds of quiz and ten games, and hatch a mystery egg over three days, guessing from its clues who is inside before collecting its card. Tiko the Troodon answers their questions with Apple's on-device model, so questions stay on the iPhone or iPad. Narrated bedtime stories end the day.

It works fully offline, has no ads and no third-party code, and is built for VoiceOver, iPad in every orientation and iPhone Duo. Younger readers get extra privacy by design: no lasting analytics id under 13, and a grown-up check before purchases and sharing.
